Born and raised in The Bronx, New York; at the age of 6, Adrianne was handed an album called ‘My Name is Barbra’. Upon hearing that glorious voice…Barbra Streisand became her mentor, vocal guide, and inspiration.
By the age of 12, Adrianne had fully found her love of singing and sang her first solo on stage in junior high school (Jordan L. Mott 22) performing her rendition of ‘You Light Up My life’. She later joined the New York City Chorus learning harmonies and experiencing the joy of music in a large group. While attending the LaGuardia High School of Music and Arts, she landed the lead in a production of ‘Princess and the Pea’. She also performed in a summer production of the musical ‘Godspell’ in New York.
After high school, she began singing in club date bands. Headlining Bar Mitzvahs, weddings, and high society events for the likes of The Waldorf Astoria, The China Club, Universal Studios, Hard Rock Live, the Disney Corporation and Carnegie Hall; just to name a few…Adrianne has always kept busy sharing her talents with others. She has been featured in many Top40, Rock & Roll, Motown, Country and Latin bands; working with The Jerry Ross Orchestra, The Mudmen, YTNT, Midnight Rider, The Paul Vesco Orchestra and many more.
An accomplished studio musician…Adrianne has recorded several jingles for radio. She was also chosen to sing back up for ‘Natalie Toro-Broadway Star’, for an Aids Benefit at Carnegie Hall, and is featured on Ms. Toro’s self-titled CD, which has been released to both National and International acclaim. Adrianne’s CD titled “This is Me” features some of her favorite music. You can pick one up at any of her local shows.
In addition to her vocal talents, Adrianne is an accomplished writer, songwriter, and playwright. 10 years in the making, Adrianne has written an original, one-woman musical titled, ‘AMID’ – A Mother in Distress. Recorded and produced by Frank Perricone, owner, and operator of Bear Jam Studios in Long Beach California; this true story about her experiences is brought to life with the power of music written by Adrianne and Frank. Watch for this production in the very near future.
As President and creator of a non-profit children’s organization called ‘The Falon Foundation Against Parental Abduction, Adrianne uses music to enlighten and educate the public about this crime. Never one to sit still, she is also in the process of writing a set of humorous children’s musical books.
Currently performing in Florida with the Paul Vesco Orchestra in Lady Lake Villages, Florida…Adrianne also headlines her own duo with husband David M. Brock Sr. called ‘The Adrianne Show’. She performs a wide variety of musical styles. She is presently recording a CD of original music at Bear Jam Studios with Owner and Producer Frank Perricone.
Adrianne has an appealing Latin flair and a warm rich sound. She’ll get your attention because she treats every song as someone’s story and takes very seriously the job of telling the story with dignity, emotion and her love of music and performing. She believes music is life. It inspires, enlightens, strengthens, lifts, and saves lives. She is a woman; she is a mother, she is music.
